Team 24 Athlete Scholarship Qualifications

     Student athletes face unique challenges as they pursue their education, balancing the responsibilities of homework and studying with practices, training, and games for their sport. High tuition is just one more source of stress that many student athletes face.

Team 24 Community is looking to ease the burden of 4 student athletes who are in the graduating class of “2024”. Any high school senior who plays on a varsity sport may apply or be nominated for this scholarship opportunity. The award must be used in pursuit of post high school education. Winners will be invited to attend the Team 24 Community Gala in October 2023.

Sports play a pivotal role in the lives of many, benefiting both physical and mental health. At the same time, sports teach us essential principles and skills, such as teamwork, leadership, self-confidence, and teammates with shared interests and values.

 

To apply, please submit a 2–3 minute video sharing to info@team-24.org:

• Your personal background

• Your aspirations

• How this scholarship would help you on your journey

• How sports have impacted your life

• Why the college major you have selected is important to you.

• What dreams you hope to pursue with this degree.

You may also submit any relevant clips of you playing your sport. Please also discuss your past academic and personal achievements, leadership skills, community and school involvement, or obstacles you’ve overcome personally and athletically.

 

Student Athlete Qualifications:

• Current high school senior in the graduating class of “2024”

• Must play on a varsity sport.

• 3.2 GPA or higher

• Must be in attendance for college for the “Fall 2024” semester.

 

Application Deadline: September 15, 2023

 

Winners Announced: October 2, 2023
